Sridevi and Sanjay Dutt are two of the biggest stars in Bollywood. The last time we saw them together in a film together was in the 1993 crime thriller Gumrah, directed by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Yash Johar.
Interestingly, this time around we might just see the two stars together again 2 States director Abhishek Varman’s next venture. The film will be made in collaboration with Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala and may also feature Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha and also Aditya Roy Kapur.
According to sources, the idea of the Partition drama was of the late Yash Johar. And now finally Karan has decided to start the project with Abhishek Varman. Sridevi apparently has even said yes to Karan six months ago. The good news is that Sanjay Dutt too may join the film. It’s likely to go on floors early next year.
