Farhan Akhtar took to his social media handles to share the first look of his forthcoming film, Lucknow Central. Helmed by debutant director, Ranjit Tiwari the film is slated to release on September 15th.
We are highly fascinated by the first look as Farhan holds the Police line-up identification placard that reads out his character name in the film, Kishan Mohan Girhotra. The film will also see Diana Penty, Gippy Grewal, Deepak Dobriyal, Ronit Roy and Rajesh Sharma in pivotal roles.
Lucknow Central is inspired by the true story of convicts who are sentences to life imprisonment at the Lucknow Central Jail. The convict then turns to start his own band.
YRF’s fresh faces, Aadar Jain and Anya Singh are to debut with a very similar concept and story film which is named Qaidi Band. Looks like the filmmakers are getting interested in behind the bars stories these days.
