He began his career at age 16 as a photography assistant at Editora Abril where he remained for four years. In 1974 , he began to work as a free-lance , doing some technical journals of Editora Abril, such as Chemicals and Derivatives , Machinery and Metals . The photos were of businessmen – the famous doll, in journalistic language.
He is currently considered by many to be one of the largest photographers in Latin America .
