Aamir Khan’s much awaited home production Secret Superstar starring his Dangal co-star Zaira Wasim in the main lead is all set for it’s release this year. Aamir had unveiled the teaser of the film last year and everyone was impressed with Zaira’s performance in the same. Mr. Perfectionist will be seen doing a cameo in the film.
Aamir shared the poster of the film on his Twitter handle this morning and the fans can’t stop praising it already. The tagline on the poster reads, Dream Dekhna Toh Basic Hota Hai and showcases Zaira walking the bridge in a school uniform with a backpack. We also see a Microphone coming out of Zaira’s bag and musical notes all over the skyline.
The trailer of the film will be released on August 2 and movie is slated for its release on Diwali this year. Secret Superstar is directed by Advait Chauhan and revolves around the story of a young girl (played by Zaira Wasim) who dreams of becoming a singing sensation but her father is against the idea. She then decides to post her singing videos hiding her face in a Burkha on her own YouTube channel and that’s when Aamir’s character of a music director comes into play.
